The Waldorf Astoria Chicago is an icon of exceptional accommodations situated in the heart of luxury, enabling guests to enjoy extraordinary Chicago experiences.

Fittingly located in the fashionable Gold Coast neighborhood, just one block from Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, the Waldorf Astoria Chicago is a quick stroll to the high-end retailers of the Oak Street shopping district and some of the most the exclusive dining and nightlife the city has to offer.

Designed by architect Lucien Lagrange, the exterior of the hotel is reminiscent of the grand hotels of Paris in the 1920s. The secluded, lush Parisian courtyard entrance unveils a sense of retreat and sanctuary that is unmatched in Chicago. Palatial interiors with silk covered walls, intriguing paintings and sculptures set the scene for an array of indulgent offerings. The art collection throughout the property is represented by 30 international contemporary artists, including the crown jewel located in the lobby: a custom Swarovski crystal chandelier designed after a Coco Chanel brooch.

Spread across a soaring 26 stories, guests can relax in one of the 215 guestrooms and suites. The expansive rooms and suites feature wet bars, private furnished terraces, one-touch fireplaces and many with separate living rooms. The white Carrara marble bathrooms are complete with soaking tubs, separate showers, vanities with inset LCD televisions, lavish bath amenities, and plush terry cloth bathrobes. WiFi is complimentary in all guest rooms.

In 2017, the Waldorf Astoria Chicago welcomed James Beard Award-Winning Chef Michael Mina’s first Chicago restaurant. Margeaux Brasserie is a sophisticated ode to 1920’s Paris and fuses the approachability of modern French fare with locally sourced ingredients and creative nuances on classic French staples. Margeaux Brasserie’s sister café located on the lobby level, Petit Margeaux, is a classic French Patisserie that boasts a European-style courtyard patio. Transport yourself to a café along the Champs-Elysees as you enjoy savory menu items alongside pastries, entrées, coffee, and tasty cocktails.
