Welcome to St. Jane Chicago, a newly renovated boutique hotel located on Michigan Avenue. Drawing upon its roots in local history as well as its commitment to art, design and philanthropy, this hotel offers a new and exciting experience in the Windy City.

St. Jane is located in the landmark Art Deco champagne bottle building. Before you know its name, you know its image. The Carbide and Carbon building was completed in 1929 by the Burnham Brothers, sons of the famed Chicago architect Daniel Burnham.

With their name they look to Jane Addams, a legendary Chicagoan, founder of Hull House, social activist, philosopher, innovator and instigator. In honor of her work championing families and a better life for all, a percentage of revenue goes to the Jackson Chance Foundation, supporting families with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

All bedrooms and suites are spacious with high ceilings and unique crown molding. The large windows offer unrivaled views of Chicago’s iconic sights. All rooms feature custom furnishings, a private bar tastefully stocked with locally sourced items and artwork to evoke a sense of mystery that blends narrative and imagery. All bathrooms feature lustrous marble countertops, a subtle tribute to the stunning materials of the Carbide & Carbon Building. Several room categories and suites are ideal for families and larger groups, offering spacious accommodation and interconnecting rooms.

For those seeking an elevated sense of luxury, The Tower Rooms and Suites welcome a distinct experience. Each room and suite offers an artfully curated residential space. The elegant and bold Tower rooms reside on floors 24 through 36 of the beautiful landmark Carbide & Carbon building. Unlike any Chicago experience, The Tower guests will have exclusive access to The Nobel, the 24th floor private rooftop bar with sweeping views of Chicago’s historic skyline.

Inspired by the raucous fun of early French brasseries and helmed by Michelin-starred talent, Free Rein creates an all-day energy with elevated fare on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue. Combining French influence with New American style, Free Rein embraces the liberties of its culinary team to spark new energy into old world familiarities. Located next to St. Jane in the beautiful Carbide and Carbon Building and complete with lively bar and sun-soaked cafe, Free Rein offers a perfect gathering spot for locals and travelers alike in the heart of Chicago’s loop.
