gia (the Global Innovation Award) is the leading housewares industry awards program, covering the industry as a whole, both retailers and manufacturers/designers, worldwide.
Since the inception of the gia program in 1999, there have been over 220 gia retail award winners, from over 30 countries. Honoring housewares design excellence, the gia design award was introduced in 2011.

The organizers and global sponsors of the gia award programs are the International Housewares Association and the International Home + Housewares Show.
