You should always be on your guard against attempts by individuals to lure you into undesirable agreements, to sell you services that are not wanted or needed, or to fraudulently redirect funds from their intended recipient.
Below are several Alerts that IHA has prepared to help you avoid situations which can cause you financial harm or loss of time and resources in fighting unlawful situations.
If you’re being asked to sign a document, make sure to read the fine print. If you’re being asked to take advantage of a “great deal” make sure that the use of the Show name, logo and typeface is familiar to you as coming from IHA. If you’re being pressured to send money to secure booth space, be skeptical and question the motive. Sometimes it’s best to trust your intuition. If something doesn’t feel right about the communication, pick up the phone and call IHA.
