IHA's 2020 Government Affairs Meeting

Educational Sessions

After opening remarks from the chairman of the IHA Government Affairs Committee, several educational sessions will be conducted on relevant governmental, legislative and compliance issues. 2019 sessions included, “How Congress Really Works”, “Efforts to Reform Postal Subsidies and the UPU”, “The Online Sales Tax Issue (The Wayfair Decision)”, “Regulatory and Policy Uncertainties Confronting Manufacturers”, and “The Trump Administration’s Labor Agenda”. The 2020 program is being developed with full details being available later in the spring.


Meetings with Congress

Visit your Members of Congress to discuss and convey how legislative decisions are impacting your business. IHA’s Government Affairs office in Washington, D.C. will preschedule meetings on your behalf with your Congessional leaders and will provide talking points to help facilitate your discussions.
