International Housewares Association: Health and Safety Policy
The International Housewares Association (“IHA”) understands that nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of all attendees, exhibitors and staff. As such, IHA complies with all federal, state, and local government mandates and federal and state health agencies recommendations regarding COVID-19. IHA has put in place reasonable precautionary measures aimed at preventing or reducing the spread of the virus. However, by attending events sponsored by IHA, you acknowledge the contagious nature of the virus and voluntarily assume all risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19.
At this time, IHA has outlined the following health and safety rules:
- Proof of vaccination will not be required to attend IHA events.
- Vaccinated attendees may be required to wear face coverings.
- Unvaccinated attendees are required to wear face coverings.
- All attendees must follow social distancing guidelines.
When registering for an IHA event, you agree to abide by all rules, warnings and instructions set by IHA and the venue where the event is held and any government authority with respect to social distancing, adherence to any mandatory face coverings, sanitation guidelines and other rules. You further agree not to attend the event if you are diagnosed with, or suspect you may have been infected by, COVID-19. IHA’s policies are subject to change in the event that federal or state mandates are implemented.
Thank you for adhering to all safety measures and precautions for the benefit of the entire industry.
