Rick & JoAnn Holton of European Design Imports LTD, importers of fine polish stoneware for over 18 years will be introducing a new line of stoneware this year at the IHA show. Ceramika Artystyczna UNIKAT an exciting new line added to our already growing line of existing fine polish stoneware. For centuries, the old world technique of cutting nature inspired shapes from dried sea sponges and then applying their designs in a hand stamped rhythm has been passed down through generations. Some brushwork is also applied in the more detailed patterns as these are called Unikat or unique and these will be in the signature series. This extremely durable stoneware will not crack or chip easily. Over the past 18 years we have truly enjoyed servicing the “mom & pop” stores, the true brick and mortar shops and are proud members of the 3/50 project in our community. We are true believers and lovers of polish stoneware and that is why we have always offered a “guaranteed sale”.
