In business since 1959, Hawkins has two offices, three factories & about 700 persons working. It is the pressure cooker market leader in India, and since 1974 exports to various countries in the six continents of the world. Worldwide, Hawkins has sold over 95 million pressure cookers & cookware. Hawkins pressure cookers are listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., USA.
Each Hawkins has an inside fitting lid, inherently safer than conventional cookers. To open, you have to first lower the lid slightly into the cooker body, which cannot be done until the pressure inside the cooker falls to a safe level. Thus, Hawkins cookers are pressure-locked for safety – like a jetliner door!
Each cooker is tested to be leak-proof. Along with a superior pressure regulating system, this ensures that Hawkins cooks quickest. Each product comes individually packed in an attractive full-color carton, with free Cookbook/Instruction Manual. All Hawkins pressure cookers are guaranteed for five years.
