2020 gia Global Honorees for Retail Excellence, Product Design to be Announced Thursday

ROSEMONT, IL (April 21, 2020) – The 2020 Global Honorees for the IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia) for retail excellence and product design will be announced Thursday, April 23 during a live-streamed event on TheInspiredHome.com, the International Housewares Association announced today. The Awards announcement will begin at 10 a.m. CDT (3 p.m. GMT) with the gia Awards for Excellence in Retail followed by the Global Honorees for Excellence in Product Design at 11 a. m. CDT (4 p.m. GMT).

The retail gia Awards will honor five retailers from the 32 national gia winners from 31 countries, along with winners of the Martin M. Pegler Award for Excellence in Visual Merchandising and the Digital Commerce Award for Excellence in Online Retailing. The product design gia Awards will recognize a Global Honoree in each of 14 categories, including Sustainability which was added this year. The awards are sponsored by IHA and The Inspired Home Show. They were to be presented at a gala dinner during The Inspired Home Show last month.
