Housing - Reserve Discounted Housing

  • IHA has negotiated the lowest rates in the city with 51 official block hotels. 
  • New for 2012, over 20 of the official convention hotels are offering early-bird rates for rooms reserved before January 1st. In some cases, hotels' early-bird rates are $20 off their standard rates!

  • Book your housing arrangements through IHA’s official housing provider, onPeak.  By doing so, you will be offered the lowest rates in the city during our convention period, have more flexibility with reservation changes and have additional services available to you.
  • The official housing partner of the 2012 International Home + Housewares Show is onPeak, the only housing company affiliated with International Home + Housewares Show. IHA cannot guarantee room rates or availability by any other company or representative. If other companies contact you for hotel/travel bookings, they are not endorsed by International Home + Housewares Show or IHA and reservations made through them are at risk.

Seven Good Reasons to Stick With the Block

  • Service: Attendees staying in the block have a go-to for room changes or customer service and an advocate working on their behalf if and when issues arise with the hotel.
  • Safety: Booking in the block provides protection from potential scams involving hotel room wholesalers or fictitious booking companies.
  • Protection: Attendees in the block have the ability to manage their sub-blocks of rooms without a separate hotel contract.  This alleviates the worry about attrition, billing or cancellation issues.
  • Extra Services: Access to free transportation provided by the Show and other amenities.
  • Security: Housing is secured well in advance for important events that can’t be missed.
  • Rates: The show has negotiated the best room rate per night for all rooms reserved for the group.
  • Credibility: Continued loyalty to the block gives attendees byer power to be able to push for room or hotel changes and helps the show negotiate lower rates in the future.

Airfare - Book Discounted Airfare

  • IHA has partnered with American Airlines to offer discounts up to 7% on any eligible, applicable published fare and discounts up to 10% off any eligible, applicable business or first class fare booked in F and J inventories.   • Reserve your airfare at least 90 days before the Show.  Airfare rates increase closer to the Show.
