Record Buyer Attendance Expected for 2007 International Home &
Housewares Show

ROSEMONT, IL (March 2,  2007)—The International Housewares Association (IHA) this morning announced that buyer registration for the 2007 International Home & Housewares Show is on a record pace. The Show expects more than 22,000 buyers to be on hand, based on continued growth among U.S. independent retailers and international buyers. This attendance is poised to eclipse the then-record 21, 368 who registered for the event in 2006.

“We are pleased that the global retail community has recognized the Show as their key annual marketplace for homegoods” said Phil Brandl, president of IHA, the Show’s not-for-profit sponsor. “With a surging consumer demand for well-designed home products, we look forward to a brisk and busy three days in Chicago. And don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead for daylight savings time the night before the Show opens. See you there!”

The International Home & Housewares Show will be held Sunday, March 11 – Tuesday, March 13, at McCormick Place, Chicago USA. For more information or no-charge buyer registration through March 10, visit www.housewares.org.
