International Housewares Association Partners With BDMetrics to Create myHome&Housewares

Online Tool Personalizes the International Home & Housewares Show Experience


ROSEMONT, ILL(January 8, 2007) The International Housewares Association (IHA) is partnering with technology software developer BDMetrics to revolutionize the International Home & Housewares Show experience with myHome&Housewares, a personalized web-based tool available to each International Home & Housewares Show buyer attendee. 

myHome&Housewares will be available in January to support the 2007 International Home and Housewares Show, the premier annual trade event for the homegoods industry. As buyers register for the Show, they will receive an e-mail with a personalized report detailing the companies they may want to visit and conference sessions they would profit from attending, all based on the preferences each buyer outlines when he or she registers.  myHome&Housewares uses BDMetrics’ You-Based™ relationship technology, which continually matches the interests of an attendee to the event content.

Concurrently, the Show will introduce SmartBooth for exhibitors, a suite of web-based prospecting tools that helps exhibitors better achieve their Show goals. Using “push” technology, SmartBooth lets exhibitors know buyer level of interest in the products they have to offer and enables them to directly reach prospects before, during and after the event.
