IHA and Invention Home Team to Assist Inventors of Home Products
ROSEMONT, Ill. (December 15, 2006) — The International Housewares Association (IHA) announces the creation of a new service that will support innovation in home goods by helping inventors bring their new ideas to consumers. In partnership with Invention Home, an inventor assistance organization, IHA has launched a comprehensive roadmap for inventors, which includes information on patents as well as advice on how to approach the market.
“Innovation is the key driving factor in our industry today,” says Phil Brandl, IHA’s president. “This new tool, coupled with several other initiatives such as our annual Student Design Competition, represents another step in executing IHA’s mission to promote and support innovation and to foster continued growth for our industry.”
The new Inventor Education materials and links to further information are located on IHA’s website at www.housewares.org/industry/data/inventors/.
Invention Home, a leading inventor support organization, also partners with home goods product suppliers to help them meet the challenge of tapping into independent inventor ingenuity. Suppliers seeking additional information may visit www.inventionhome.com
