Founded in 1985, Steamer Trading Cookshop is a highly successful, family-run chain of 21 uniquely individual specialist cookshops. Its stores are housed in unusual and often historic buildings that add to the overall theatre of its housewares displays. In fact, the first store opened in a 15th Century former public house, the “Steamer Inn” in a medieval village in Sussex.
