The Vault has retail outlets in all three of New Zealand’s major cities and will open its first overseas store in London next year.
With an image based on creating a “Vault-like” atmosphere, natural light is shut out of the stores to add drama to product displays. Innovative use of interior lighting serves to further enhance the mood. To draw people into the store, the company uses video screens positioned in the doorways to give passers-by a glimpse of the delights inside.
The retail stores, two of which have on-site cafes, have been designed to pull people into and through the displays.
