In less than 10 years, Maria Drockila Oy has established itself in Finland as a domestic candle producer, wholesaler and retailer with three locations. The company has a clear vision, which is consistently pursued through innovative activities. The company has done well in several competitions with owner Maria Drockila winning the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2006 at age 29.
Maria Drockila Oy has a unique business concept offering only Finnish-made products. All candle workshops operate in old factory buildings, which have been renovated to comprise suitable facilities for candle manufacturing as well as a retail store. The stores’ basic ideology is to energize their customers. Customers are offered all-inclusive experiences from the minute they step inside.
