Housewares Education
The International Housewares Association prepares and organizes educational events, reports and opportunities throughout the year. Pre-Show webinars provide education on relevant industry topics and help you prepare for The Inspired Home Show, previously named the International Home + Housewares Show. And, while you’re in Chicago for IHA’s global home + housewares market, take advantage of the keynotes, educational sessions and cooking demonstrations taking place live each day! After the tradeshow, sessions will be accessible on our site.
California's Responsible Textile Recovery Act: Requirements, Impacts, and Next Steps
California’s textile Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) law, SB 707, will have real implications for brands, manufacturers, and other companies operating in the housewares and home goods industry. This webinar, brought to the industry by IHA and Home Fashion Products Association (HFPA). will provide a clear, high-level overview of the law, who it applies to, and what obligated producers need to know now. TRA will also discuss next steps for implementation and how IHA and HFPA members can prepare and stay engaged.
To support IHA members navigating these realities, the International Housewares Association is partnering with Creative Planning to introduce the Operating Leaders Cohort, a six-month learning cohort designed specifically for IHA member managers and directors responsible for execution, margin performance, and growth initiatives.
