Celebrity chefs including Charm City Cakes’ Duff Goldman and Iron Chefs Cat Cora and Michael Symon will top the line-up of stars appearing in the Cooking Theater at the 2012 International Home + Housewares Show, March 10-13 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
The Cooking Theater is the focal point of the Gourmet Food + Home District in the Dine + Design Expo in the South Building. On hand will be exhibitors of specialty and gourmet treats and the tools used to prepare them. The Gourmet Food + Home District also features the NASFT Specialty Food Marketplace and Chicago’s Restaurant Row.
The Cooking Theater is jointly sponsored by KitchenAid, Wilton Brands, Robinson Home Products and Whole Foods Market.
The Theater will run demonstrations from 1pm to close on Saturday, March 10 and 9am to close Sunday, March 11 & Monday, March 12 and 9am to 11am Tuesday, March 13. Each day will feature the following chefs:

Many of the chefs will also be doing book signings after their demonstrations.

The Specialty Food Marketplace, sponsored by the National Association of the Specialty Food Trade, presents a wider look at what’s new in gourmet specialty foods including many award-winning products in a gourmet tasting area. Sampling is welcomed! Restaurant Row will feature Chicago culinary establishments who will be happy to make reservations for attendees.
